We wanted to reassure you that here at Riverside Dental Practice we are and intend to continue to operate with business as usual. If you have an appointment booked with us please assume it is going ahead unless we contact you.

We are constantly monitoring and updating our practice Standard Operating Procedures, utilising both national and local guidance, ensuring the safety of both you and our staff are the utmost priority. The standards of hygiene, cross infection and attention to detail right across the practice and team are second to none.

Rest assured that in visiting us for your appointment we will take the best care of you and your family. If at any point you would like to discuss any of the policies and procedures that we have in place then please call us on 01451 820306 or email admin@riversidedentalbotw.co.uk

We look forward to seeing you all soon.

From all at Riverside Dental Practice.

In other news….

Thank you for sponsoring Emma in the London Marathon this year in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. Run virtually it was very rainy, wet and a long long way, but 26.2 miles was completed, and Emma has the medal and T shirt to prove it! The total raised so far is a fantastic £3,340 (to add to this please visit Virgin Money Giving and search Emma Speechley) Thank you!

We continue to see our lovely patients with new procedures to ensure all our safety. Check-ups are resuming, Please call and book an appointment. We are very busy but open for business.

We are back in action. This is some of the team in PPE.

Please be reassured, it’s still us smiling behind the masks and visors!

We are trying to return to providing a more comprehensive service, however we are still limited on the number of people we can have in the building, and are allowing extra time for cleaning between every patient, so please bear with us if you cannot be seen for a check-up immediately. We are catching up on urgent problems initially, but hope to offer more routine treatment and appointments very soon, as ever safety is our primary concern, and we continue to follow guidelines from Public Health England, The British Dental Association, and other bodies.
Please call if you have any queries, we’d love to hear from you, we’ve missed you!

We are open!

We are pleased to say that we are open again and starting to see our lovely patients.

However we are limited in the short-term ( due to PPE supplies) with which treatments we can provide. Currently we are able to perform consultations, treatment planning, extractions, temporary fillings and denture repairs.

As ever everyone’s safety is our priority, and we have introduced stringent new measures to comply with all the latest advice and guidance.

Please give us a call if you have a problem, we are happy to discuss this over the phone and then arrange an appropriate appointment .

We do have a few appointments available this week, if you need an urgent assessment.

Stay safe,
The Team at Riverside.

Update 28th May

Following the government announcement this evening we are pleased to say that we are planning to reopen in a limited fashion from Monday 8th June.
Due to concerns for your and our safety please be reassured that we will be following extremely strict guidelines for infection control. This is however wholly dependent on supplies of PPE.
Initially we will be severely limited in the types of treatment we can provide, procedures that involve an aerosol (eg fillings) will not be available in the short term, but we are intending to resume these as soon as safe to do so.
We have a list of patients who have contacted us requesting emergency appointments and we will be triaging and contacting them to assess their current needs and the logistics involved in providing treatment. Please be patient as the phone is likely to be very busy. We will respond to your messages, and arrange your appointments as soon as safe and convenient to all.

*Please do not attend the practice without an appointment*

Thank you to you all for your consideration and understanding in the current climate, we have been touched by your concern and really look forward to seeing you soon and resuming our normal high standard of service as soon as possible. Wishing you all the best, stay well.
Please watch this space for further updates,
Ian, Emma, Philippa and the team.

Update 11th May 2020 Covid – 19 closure

Further to the P-M’s announcement last night we are extremely keen to resume providing dental care to you our lovely patients.

There is however a huge issue of safety, both to patients and us the staff. We await guidelines from NHSE, CQC, the BDA or the Chief Dental Officer for England. We are actively looking at preparations and precautions and we have in the last few weeks been desperately trying to source whatever may be the recommended PPE.

As soon as it is safe and legal for us to reopen we will do so, but this will be initially in a severely restricted manner with priority given to patients who have contacted us with problems. If you wish to be added to this priority list please email

admin@riversidedentalbotw.co.uk

We ask please for patience and understanding as due to decontamination procedures we will be extremely limited in how many patients we can safely see in one day, and in the treatment we can provide.

**please do not attend the surgery without an appointment **
